Rondo of Swords

Citação:With Rondo of Swords now in our hands, we've had a chance to get familiar with the game and take it through a few initial battles. As the huge change from regular strategy titles, Rondo makes use of "Route Maneuvering," which is a system that relies on the actual path players take across the battlefield, rather than just the end result. Characters in Rondo of Swords can attack multiple enemies in a single turn, and it's all based on moving through them, rather than up to them. Once your turn comes up, select your active player, and draw a line on the battlefield tile by tile just like you would with Advance Wars or the like. Instead of stopping on an adjacent tile to an enemy, try to craft your path so that it runs through as many baddies as possible. Once you actually move, the top screen becomes a very anime-inspired action screen, with the action character dashing in front of a simple backdrop, slashing (on the run) any enemies he encounters from his start to end point on the map.

Citação:any ally character can use "support" strategy, equipping magic or skills that give friendly players a boost as they pass through them. Essentially you could start your attack by running from the back lines to the front, gaining huge boosts from your team, and then finishing the route with multiple attacks on the enemy's front lines. This works both ways though, as there's also a counter system included where enemy characters can hit you on your way by, as well as a "Zone of Control" ability that stronger units hold, actually stopping you from dashing through them at all and ending your attack and turn instantly.

Citação:The magic and skills system should add some depth to the package, and each character can level up and of course learn new abilities (though characters are pre-made, just like Fire Emblem), and the potential for the uber-powerful OverBreak attacks and battle momentum system will add to the depth and strategy as well. As for the audio and visual design, Rondo of Swords has the feel of something like Fire Emblem, but uses the familiar anime-inspired art design found in nearly every other portable Atlus title, and again borrows from the same font, menu backdrops, and interface style as games Luminous Arc and Izuna.

Infelizmente, parece ainda não existir uma data de lançamento na Europa.
